Almost Adults

Synopsis

An old two-family house with a garden and a rooftop terrace becomes the meeting point for Apostolis, Thomas, Nikol and Alexis. In their 30s and 40s, some are chasing creative ambitions and their next paying gig, while others juggle overdue bills and memories of better days.

Having weathered Greece’s financial crisis and lockdown, they are ready to enjoy life again. Instead, daily problems spiral into comic adventures involving music, mystery, absurd coincidences and tax misunderstandings. As their lives become increasingly entangled, friendship offers both a refuge and a fresh source of trouble in a warm, irreverent comedy about people old enough to know better, but still figuring things out.
