Synopsis

In the summer of 1974, a young couple, just 17 and 19, lose their three-month-old baby in the chaos of the invasion of Famagusta. Forced to flee their home, they begin a new life with no way of knowing whether their son survived.

He grows up in another family and builds a life in London, while his birth family remains in Cyprus, unaware of his fate. Now 50, he travels to the island to make a documentary for an international streaming platform. As he gathers accounts of war and displacement, his work brings him closer to a past he never knew, setting in motion encounters and revelations that will change the lives of those around him.
